Social Media Steps Up at CES

Social media had a prominent place at CES 2014, with a Social Media Command Center featuring live feeds of recent tweets, social media updates from influencers and Instagram photos from the trade show. 

Salesforce.com sponsored the command center and its director of solutions marketing, Michael Peachey, described "over a 150,000 mentions of CES happening everyday," and "3.4 million conversations about CES to date."  In part, the benefit of sharing the information is the cumulative effect of gaining a pulse on what's really catching fire at CES.  is gaining "Madison Avenue has really come to CES to find out what the consumer trends are, and we're demonstrating here the power of social and what it means to be able to connect with your customers. " Peachey said that at CES, Televsision, smartphones and apps are clearly the most popular topics. Read more:
